27 May Pools and Swimsuits – This is Your Summer

After a long, long winter, we are delighted to welcome a new hot summer. The shining sun and refreshing cool water are calling us and the time is nearly right. All the hard work, countless overtime hours, not enough sleep – ladies and gentlemen, this summer will be all that you’ve been wanted and expecting it to be. While you’re enjoying the fantasy, it’s for certain that you have a perfect image of yourself in your head. You’re sunbathing by the pool with a book in one and a sweet summer cocktail in your other hand.  But what exactly are you wearing? Are you thinking about colors? You must have that one favorite color that brings out your eyes and if it weren’t inappropriate, you would wear it all the time? Do you want to find out whether that is a comfortable color during this hot summer?

Practically, you can combine almost anything. Prints, mixed colorful designs, connect two parts of different costumes, play with clothes. This summer is all about playing and experimenting. If you’re the kind of girl, who has a negative opinion about animal prints, go wild! Try it on at least, and see if you were right.

Colorful upper parts combined with one-colored bottoms are definitely a must-have. Go with pink, yellow and green tops paired with white bottoms, or just pick out a couple of colored details on the top. Flowers are an important part of this summer’s prints, so if you’re a fan, make them part of your wardrobe. The same flower print of your new swimsuit on both parts is totally acceptable. White and black are back in as basic colors. You can use them as a surface on which you’ll add colors and prints. Pastel colors simply pop up on this type of background. If you’re into soft, gentle colors, go just with pastels – you can’t go wrong with them. Purple is surely back, so don’t be afraid to try new things and pair it with yellow or blue.

Also, beach dresses are something that you just can’t miss if you’re into fashion. This summer is all about long sashes, just a tiny bit more complicated than the ordinary ones. They are easy to make, too. If you want to try making your very own, just look for the model you like and just after a few stitches on the light summer material – you’ll have a brand new dress. Also, ankle-long skirts are back, so you make sure they’ll have a place in your closet, pastel green ones especially. A lot of spots and dots will make the summer you perfected.

If you decide for a bit less markedly swimsuit, it won’t be a mistake. A simple white one or a black one will be a sure choice. Girly as it has always been, pink isn’t neglected. For a princess-like girl, every shade of pink comes desirable. Pink and light blue with just a pinch of orange make a cheerful combination. A word of caution is in order of course, due to the nature of the season, and the dress code that comes along with it – our skin is exposed to a lot of sunlight. Always apply sunscreen and have your skin checked before summer. Moreover, avoid the tanning booth, and allow your skin to tan naturally.

As you can see, I am mostly addressing women. But, men just have to put on a pair of shorts and that’s it, right?

One-piece suits are really stylish at the moment, so those of you that want to embellish their hips without working out – this is a good time. Also, you can go with one color, something colorful or a print and you’ll be the star of any pool.

But, safety comes first. Pools are fun and you can always expect to have fun at the pool party, just make sure that the pool is clean. Pool chemicals need to be balanced.

The PH value should always be in balance. If not, using the pool is dangerous and could potentially harm your health. It’s very easy to check if everything is in order, you can buy tests that check the PH value and in just a few seconds you’ll know if everything is fine.

All these chemicals are necessary to keep a pool clean and healthy. What kind of a party would it be if everyone got a rash or allergies? And everybody would start scratching and panicking, probably screaming… And that pool party of yours would be a disaster, so you can never again show your face in public or, God forbid, try to throw another party. To avoid a catastrophe, be smart and keep the chemicals in balance, check them in time and make sure that you don’t run out of supplies so that everything wouldn’t be at the last minute.

Back to our swimwear, stripes are always a good choice. If you want to make your body longer or thinner, stripes will do the job. The best thing about stripes is that any color will do the trick – yes, ladies, even your favorite one. If you have problems with emphasizing your bust, use wired tops to firm them and then play with cleavage of any kind. The trick is making sure that everything will stand in its rightful place. If the wires are too much, strengthened tops are definitely your thing. There will be no pricking and you are going to be more relaxed, and you’ll be able to just unwind.

When you finally go shopping, be free to choose a suit that’s exactly your style or you’ll feel unpleasant and you’ll have to constantly check your figure in the mirror. An important thing is to be persistent and not to give up. Feel comfortable in your own body and don’t be afraid to show it because every shape is beautiful in its own way. Sometimes, it helps being in front of the mirror for a couple of minutes every day just watching and getting to know your body. You should fall in love with every curve and every single imperfection that you’re able to spot, because that is the exact reason why you’re special and how you’re different. Respecting what Mother Nature decides to give you will increase your confidence, so you won’t be standing alone at parties and be insecure and sad. You’ll be a real, modern, beautiful woman who knows what she wants, when she wants it and how to get it.
