5 Things Every Bride Should Do Before Her Wedding Day

Getting married is what every woman dreams about since she was a little girl. Planning a wedding is a long and stressful process because there are a lot of things that should be done before the big day comes. The wedding day is all about the bride, so every woman wants to feel and look like royalty on the most important day of her life.

1. Spa

A wedding day is a very long and hard day for the bride and groom. Since the wedding is all about the bride, the bride should get it all. A relaxing day at the spa should get her one day, when she will forget all about the stress that comes with all the planning for her day. Facials, massages, saunas and many more.  If you are getting some facial treatments, make sure that you do it several days before the wedding because you don’t want your face to be sensitive when applying makeup. The goal is to enjoy and feel pampered, to turn off your phone and, for a day, to feel like there are no worries in your world.

2. Tan

Whether the wedding is in June or September, every bride wants to look tanned for her big day. There are a couple of ways to get the tan that you want. Of course, the most natural one is if you have the chance to visit a beach or a swimming pool to get your tan naturally, but if you don’t have the opportunity for that, you can always go to a tanning salon or spray tanning. If you decide for a tanning salon, take a head start with a minimum of 6 weeks before the wedding to get the best results. If you go for spray tanning, here are some tips on what to do. Before you do it, take an exfoliating shower, plan what underwear to wear, allow yourself to dry and always take a practice run. Make sure your skin looks natural and not orange, since that would not look good in the pictures.

3. Hair

Choosing a hairstyle for your wedding can be time consuming because every bride is looking for the perfect hairstyle. Up or down, blowout or a bun, the decision is hard. Since, on the wedding day, you will be dancing, talking to the guests and being on the move all the time… maybe it is better to go for a bun. A bun can be sophisticated and beautiful and you can always decorate it with some lace elements to match your gown. Get hair treatment a week before the wedding day, so it would be easier to work with. When scheduling with your stylist, make sure to schedule a trial appointment to see if the hairstyle is everything you wanted and don’t hold back on speaking up and giving suggestions, because after all, it is your big day.

4. Makeup

When getting your makeup done for your big day, you will see that there are so many choices that it could be overwhelming. You can never go wrong if you go for these three choices, natural, bold eyes and bold lips. Keep in mind that makeup should last the whole day, through all the kissing and hugging and crying, so it is best to use waterproof mascara, and long lasting lipstick. If you are getting your makeup done with a professional makeup artist, make sure you tell them what you want, to get the best results. Makeup looks different in person and in pictures, so have your photograph taken with a flash, to see how your makeup will look in them.

5. Teeth

Taking pictures and smiling is inevitable on your wedding day. You can’t let yourself hold back on smiling if your teeth aren’t white enough. If you decide to go for laser teeth whitening, you can’t go wrong. Make sure to schedule it on time before the wedding – not too soon or too late. Visit your dentist, who will give you a couple of painless treatments from which you will see amazing results. Laser teeth whitening works like this – your dentist applies a whitening solution to your teeth and then accelerates the process of whitening by using laser lights. With the right lipstick and your beautiful smile, the wedding pictures will be amazing.

In the end, it is all about having fun at your own wedding. Celebrating with your friends and family, dancing and so on. People pull creative stunts like choosing an unusual ride to the wedding ceremony, or the bride and the groom dress in unorthodox ways. It is easy to forget, due to all those obligations, that a wedding is fun and keeping this in mind actually does a lot of good when it comes to everyone’s mood.
